LIGHT 1

light Change the value for the brightness of one light. (default 300).
_color The hex code color for the light

Introduction:

Light is what gives a map a good atmosphere, without it we all would look like newbies no matter how detailed your map is. I will demonstrate how to use the simple light entity and its basic features such as brightness, and color.

Step 1:

The default for a light entity is 300, this is pretty bright that can light a large room. Changing the value should always be done unless of course you really want 300.

The default color for a light entity is white, or in hex code: '1.000000 1.000000 1.000000' (RGB) Since we can easily change it to most colors using the 'K' key to open up the color dialog, colors dark enough will be changed to something brighter. I dont' know why they did this, but to use a color too dark, press 'K' then find a color you like, but is too dark. Remeber the RGB values then hit cancel and type in the Key: _color and Value of the RGB color (should use only 2 numbers each).
